Insulation and Sound deadening

Good insulation acts as a barrier that slows the transfer of heat into or out of your campervan, providing comfort and improving heating efficiency. It works by trapping air in small pockets to reduce conduction and convection, while also reflecting radiant heat to keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

To achieve the best possible results, we use some of the highest-performing insulation materials available on the market as standard. However, if you have already purchased materials or have different preferences and only need us for the labour, feel free to contact us as well.

As a first layer of defence, we use Dodo Thermo Liner Pro 15mm. This high-grade self-adhesive liner features reinforced aluminium foil and extra-soft closed-cell foam, creating a high-performance insulation layer ideal for the van sides and roof. To take it even further, we add Dodo Fleece EVO 50mm as a second layer. This carefully selected combination delivers exceptional thermal performance and helps create a comfortable interior in all seasons.

Apart from thermal insulation, these layers also help reduce noise. However, to make your rides as quiet as possible, we use Dodo Mat DEADN Hex sound deadening, which helps eliminate panel vibrations.

For the floor, we take extra care to keep the overall thickness to a minimum, giving you as much headroom as possible while still maintaining excellent insulation and soundproofing. We achieve this by using Dodo Mat DEADN DUO Pro. This floor underlay combines two important layers in one, with heavier sound deadening and a thicker insulation layer. It offers one of the best performance-to-thickness ratios available on the market, reducing vibrations, blocking noise, and insulating the floor all at once.
